DJ Service Terms & Conditions (Simplified)
1. Booking and Payments
Securing the Date: A deposit is needed to lock in your event date.
Final Payment: Due a specific number of days before the event.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel by a certain date, you might get a partial refund. After that date, the deposit is non-refundable.
2. Event Details
Timing: We agree to start and finish at the times we’ve set.
Location Requirements: We need enough space and access to power outlets.
3. Performance Standards
Music Choices: We’ll discuss and agree on the music style or specific songs you want.
Volume Control: We’ll keep the music at a level that’s fun but respects local noise rules.
4. Equipment and Safety
Our Gear: We bring our own equipment, which we’ll set up and take down.
Damage Responsibility: If our gear gets damaged at your event (not caused by us), you might be responsible for the costs.
5. Insurance and Liability
Safety First: We have insurance in case something unexpected happens related to our services.
Limit of Liability: If things go wrong (like an equipment failure), our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us.
6. Force Majeure (Unexpected Events)
Act of God Clause: If extreme weather or other unforeseen major events prevent us from performing, neither of us is at fault.
7. Legal Stuff
Following the Law: We stick to PA laws, including music licensing and business regulations.
Solving Disagreements: If we have a dispute, we’ll try to work it out. If we can’t, we might need to go to mediation or arbitration, following PA law.
8. Changes to Agreement
Modifications: If we need to change these terms, we’ll both need to agree in writing.
9. Acknowledgment
Your Signature: By signing, you’re saying you understand and agree to these terms.
